John Agar (31 January 1921 – 7 April 2002) was an American actor who appeared in over 70 films throughout his career, primarily in the 1940s and 1950s. He is perhaps best known for his work in classic Hollywood productions such as Fort Apache, She Wore a Yellow Ribbon, and Tarantula. He also appeared in several science fiction and horror films, including The Brain from Planet Arous and Attack of the Puppet People. He was married to actress Shirley Temple from 1945 to 1949.
