Christian Rub (13 April 1886 – 14 April 1956) was a German-American character actor who appeared in over 100 films throughout his career, primarily in the 1930s and 1940s. He is perhaps best known for his roles in classic Hollywood productions such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Heidi, and You Can’t Take It with You. He often played the character of authority, such as judges, doctors, and professors. In addition to his film work, he was also a successful stage actor and appeared in several Broadway productions. He passed away in 1956 at the age of 70.
