Bert Roach (21 August 1891 – 16 February 1971) was an American actor who appeared in over 300 films throughout his career, primarily in the 1910s, 1920s, and 1930s. He is perhaps best known for his roles in classic Hollywood productions such as King Kong, The Freshman, and Little Caesar. He often played the supporting character or the comic relief. In addition to his film work, he was also a successful stage actor and appeared in several Broadway productions. He retired from acting in the mid-1950s and passed away in 1971 at the age of 79.
