Vincent Price (27 May 1911 – 25 October 1993) was an American actor who appeared in over 100 films throughout his career, primarily in the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s. He is perhaps best known for his roles in classic Hollywood productions such as House of Wax, The Fly, and The Masque of the Red Death. He often played the villain or the sinister character, and he was known for his distinctive voice and flamboyant acting style. In addition to his film work, he was also a successful stage actor and appeared in several Broadway productions. He also wrote several cookbooks and authored several books on art history. He passed away in 1993 at the age of 82.
