John Eldredge (20 August 1904 – 23 September 1961) was an American actor who appeared in over 200 films throughout his career. He is perhaps best known for his work in classic Hollywood productions such as In Old Chicago, High Sierra, and The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance. He often played supporting roles as detectives, lawyers, or other authority figures. He also appeared in several television series in the 1950s and early 1960s.
