Acquanetta (17 July 1921 – 16 August 2004) was an American actress known for her work in films throughout the 1940s and 1950s. She is perhaps best known for her role in the horror film Captive Wild Woman and its sequels. She also appeared in several other films, including Tarzan and the Leopard Woman and Dead Man’s Eyes. She was known for her exotic looks and was often marketed as “The Venezuelan Volcano” or “The MGM Oomph Girl.” After her career in Hollywood, she became a successful businesswoman.
