David Bruce (6 January 1914 – 3 May 1976) was an American actor who appeared in over 70 films throughout his career, primarily in the 1940s and 1950s. He is perhaps best known for his roles in classic Hollywood productions such as Mr. and Mrs. Smith, The Mad Ghoul, and The Fighting Seabees. He often played the leading man or the romantic interest of the main character. In addition to his film work, he appeared in several television shows and was a regular on The Adventures of Ellery Queen. He retired from acting in the 1960s and worked as a real estate agent until his death in 1976 at the age of 62.
